Arsenal Closing In On Deal For £36m Rated Brazilian Flyer As Medical Team Flies Out

Arsenal have sent a medical team to Brazil ahead of a prospective move for Gremio winger Everton, according to Fox Sports Brazil.

The Gunners have been tracking the 23-year-old as a more economical alternative to Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

Everton is said to be available for €40m (£36m) but it remains to be seen if they have already come to an agreement, or the medical staff are being prepped just in case a deal is reached.

Arsenal are said to be fighting Atletico Madrid for the Brazilian international’s signature with the Spanish club reportedly having already made a €35m offer, plus €10m in add-ons.

Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with the Copa America star, but it seems to be a two-way fight at this stage.

Technical Director Edu is said to be masterminding the Gunners’ move for Everton, and fans will be hoping his connections in Brazil will help him get the deal over the line.
