Arsenal’s Chances To Win The Champions League Revealed Amid Fresh Opta Supercomputer Simulation

According to the Opta Supercomputer, Arsenal are the second-most likely team to win the Champions League this season.

The Gunners are out of two competitions as they got knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Newcastle United last week. They had previously been knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United, and sit second in the Premier League.

With Liverpool looking so strong with a six-point lead in the league, Arsenal’s best chance of silverware this season could be in the Champions League.

They finished the first ever ‘league phase’ third in the table, having won six of their eight games. They face a game against AC Milan, PSV, Feyenoord or Juventus in the next round.

In the latest Opta simulation of the Champions League knockout stages, Arsenal are the second-most likely team to win the competition, but what are their chances, and who are their main competitors? Press the next page to find out…
