Arsenal Attempts To Sign Ceballos Dealt Setback After Real Slap Sky High Price Tag On Star

Arsenal will have to fork out €50m (£43.5m) if they want to sign Dani Ceballos on a permanent transfer at the end of the season, according to AS.

The Madrid based newspaper reports that Real Madrid are very reluctant to sell the player, considering the current state of the transfer market.

With Ceballos’s loan at the Emirates expiring this summer, Real do have a decision to make on his future, but it looks more likely that he could be allowed to leave on loan for a second season.

Whether that means the Gunners would have the chance of snapping up on another temporary move, it remains to be seen.

Ceballos’s former club Real Betis are said to be very keen on signing the Spaniard, and while his asking price may rule out a permanent deal, a loan switch is a possibility.

The Spanish international is reportedly keen on returning to Seville, and that could prove crucial in where he ends up next season.
