Arsenal are “open to offers” for winger Reiss Nelson, according to CBS Sports journalist James Benge. The 21-year-old has found first-team opportunities hard to come by under manager Mikel Arteta this season.
He has made only nine appearances in all competitions, starting just five matches, having scored one goal and contributed one assist.
Nelson has fallen behind the likes of Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe, Emil Smith Rowe, Willian and Gabriel Martinelli in the battle for places on the wings for the Gunners.
His lack of minutes has seen him relegated to playing for the Under 23s, having recently played in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City on Friday night.
With Arsenal out of the FA Cup and, with Arteta prioritising the Europa League, Nelson really has no potential opportunities coming up where he could impress the manager. It seems his time at the Emirates could well be coming to an end.
