Arsenal are interested in signing Napoli winger Hirving Lozano, according to reports in Spain. The Gunners are one of three teams tracking the Mexican international, along with Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.
The 25-year-old has been in good form this campaign, having scored 13 goals and contributed four assists in 32 appearances for the Serie A side.
Lozano joined Napoli from PSV Eindhoven for €42m in the summer of 2019 but he initially struggled to establish himself in Italy, starting just ten league matches last season.
However, under the management of Gennaro Gattuso, he has gone from strength to strength and it appears his form has grabbed the attention of Arsenal’s scouts.
Whether the London club need another winger, though, it is up for debate. Manager Mikel Arteta already has the likes of Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe, Gabriel Martinelli, Willian and Reiss Nelson at his disposal and it is hard to see where Lozano would fit in.
