Arsenal And United On Alert As 50M Rated Bundesliga Star Admits He’s “Thinking About” Summer Transfer

Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby has confirmed he is eyeing a potential move away from the Bundesliga club this summer.

Reports in the German media have claimed that Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle are all interested in the Frenchman and, asked in a recent interview about his future, the player admitted that a transfer is on his mind:

“Obviously, I’m thinking about it, but not too much yet. I remain focused on the end of the season. For the moment it is my only concern.”

Diaby is reportedly valued at a hefty €60m (£50m) by Leverkusen but the Gunners will have to spend big in order to strengthen their frontline, which will be further weakened by the likely departures of both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.

Neither forward is expected to sign a contract extension and there is every chance they will leave the Emirates when their current deals expire at the end of June. Diaby wouldn’t a like-for-like replacement for either player, though.

The 22-year-old does prefer to play off either wing, but he is pretty prolific in front of goal, having bagged 16 in 35 appearances so far this season.
