Arsenal And United Circle As Bundesliga Midfield Maestro Is Put On The Market

Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso will be allowed to leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, according to reports in the German media.

There were claims in France last month that Arsenal, Manchester United, Napoli, Juventus and Atletico Madrid were all keen on signing the 25-year-old, and it appears they will get their chance this summer.

The Bundesliga giants are looking to free up funds and are reportedly willing to offload Tolisso, Javi Martinez and Jerome Boateng if appropriate bids are made for the trio.

The Frenchman has been at Bayern for nearly three years, having signed from Lyon for £35m in June 2017, but he has fallen down the pecking order under current head coach Hansi Flick.

Tolisso has only started seven league games, despite having been fully fit for the majority of the campaign, and it appears his time in Germany is coming to a close. Whether the Gunners will make a formal approach for the midfielder, we shall have to wait and see.
