Arsenal and Tottenham are both interested in Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet, according to reports in the Catalan media.
Barca are said to be keen to sell or loan out the France international, who has been capped 13 times by his country, with the Premier League being his most likely destination this summer.
However, Lenglet is reluctant to leave the Camp Nou and a meeting will reportedly take place about his future when he comes back from holiday.
Whether the Gunners need another centre-back, with the London club closing in on a £50m move for Brighton’s Ben White, it is debatable
Lenglet is left-footed so unless manager Mikel Arteta is looking to offload either Pablo Mari or Gabriel Magalhaes, it would be very strange if Arsenal were pursuing a third player for the same position.
With these reports about Lenglet emanating only from Spain, it does suggest that there is very little substance to this story.
