Arsenal and Tottenham are both interested in Barcelona winger Marc Cucurella, according to reports in the Spanish media. 

The 21-year-old is, though, currently on loan at Getafe and he will join the Spanish club on a permanent basis in the summer. His contract with his new team will, however, have a €25m (£21m) release clause included which the Gunners could choose to trigger.

As well as their North London rivals, Mikel Arteta‘s side will also reportedly have to battle Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen for Cucurella’s signature.

The Spaniard has been in decent form this campaign, having scored one goal and provided five assists in 25 league games for Getafe, who are just one point off the Champions League places heading into the last 13 games of the season.

Cucurella can also play as a left-back but he has spent the best part of two years being utilised as a winger, both at Getafe and during his previous loan spell at Eibar.
