Arsenal And Premier League Rivals Are Tracking Belgian Under 19 Hotshot

Arsenal and Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs interested in Club Brugge striker Cyril Ngonge, according to the Mirror.

The Gunners have already sent scouts to watch the Belgian Under 19 international in action this season with the forward starring in the UEFA Youth League.

Ngonge has scored four goals in the group stages for Brugge with Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Lille and Valencia also named as teams who have sent representatives to see him play.

The Mirror suggest other “top clubs” could be after the 18-year-old, meaning the likes of Manchester United, City and Chelsea could also be in the mix.

Ngonge hasn’t made his senior debut yet. He is currently playing in Club Brugge’s Under 21 setup, whilst appearing for the Under 19’s in the Youth League.

At international level, he has also made a big impression. Last month, in only his second cap for Belgium Under 19s, he scored his first goal in a 2-1 win against Uzbekistan.
