Arsenal And Premier League Rival Both Lining Up £21m Bids For French Midfield Anchor Man

Arsenal and Everton are both preparing €25m (£21m) offers for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Frenchman is said to be one of the Gunners’ main targets for the January transfer window with the 24-year-old having struggled for game time under manager Maurizio Sarri this season.

Rabiot only joined Juve on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in July but he is already being tipped to leave Italy after just six months.

He is competing with the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi, Emre Can, Sami Khedira and Aaron Ramsey for a place in the Italian champions’ midfield.

Rabiot has actually played the full 90 minutes in Juventus’s last two league games but he has only managed three other starts in Serie A, with just 12 appearances in all competitions.

Whether Arsenal will be able to persuade the Bianconeri into selling with their reported opening offer, we shall have to wait and see.
