Arsenal have stepped up their interest in PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano, according to reports in Italy.
Napoli are also said to be looking to sign the Mexican international, but it appears they don’t have the finances to sign the forward this month.
PSV are demanding upwards of €40m (£35m) for Lozano in the current transfer window, and with the Gunners unable to sign players on a permanent basis in January, it’s likely that both clubs are eyeing a move in the summer instead.
It is believed that an offer of between £26m and £28m could be acceptable to the Eredivisie side at the end of the season.
Chelsea and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old but it’s likely the former’s capture of Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic would have put an end to their pursuit.
Lozano has been in excellent form for PSV this season, having scored 15 goals and provided nine assists in 27 appearances.
