Arsenal And Chelsea On Alert As Turkish Teenage Sensation Is Made Available For 3M

Arsenal and Chelsea are both scouting Bursaspor striker Ali Akman, with the player set to be sold for just £3m this month, according to reports in the English media.

The teenager has less than six months remaining on his current contract but he is not willing to sign an extension. With that being the case, Bursaspor are keen to sell him in the January transfer window rather than allowing him to leave when his deal expires in June.

Akman is only 18 years of age but he has already made 42 senior appearances, including 16 this season which have seen him rack up an impressive nine league goals and provide three assists.

The Gunners and Chelsea are not the only clubs keeping tabs on the Turkey Under 21 international’s situation, with teams in Italy, Germany and France also believed to be lining up bids of their own.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal have the resources to snap him up this month, or if they will risk waiting and signing him for less in the summer.
