Arsenal are expected to challenge Liverpool, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma, according to El Periodico Mediterraneo.
The Spanish news outlet claims that all four teams are interested in signing the Dutch international, who is keen on leaving Spain.
Danjuma is believed to have a €45m (£38.3m) release clause but the player is hoping that Villarreal will be willing to let him go for just under that figure, €40m or £34m.
The La Liga club signed the 25-year-old from Bournemouth for €25m (£21m) last year, so it remains to be seen how they will respond if they do receive bids in the coming weeks.
Danjuma played mostly as a centre-forward under former Gunners boss Unai Emery last season, scoring 16 goals in 34 appearances, but he can also play off the left wing. With Arsenal keen on strengthening in both of those positions, it seems like the Dutchman could be a viable target.
