Vivianne Miedema was on the scoresheet once again as Arsenal Women secured a 1-0 win against Everton on Saturday afternoon.
The Netherlands international has now scored in back to back matches after bagging the equaliser in the 1-1 draw versus Juventus last week.
Her goal against the Toffees was a superb solo effort, getting the better of two defenders inside the box before rifling home the finish into the top right-hand corner of the net.
The Gunners were dominant for most of the game at Meadow Park but they were unable to make the most of the chances they created on the day.
Ultimately, Miedema’s solo goal was enough to secure the three points, with Jonas Eidevall’s side getting back to winning ways after their shock loss to Manchester United in their last WSL fixture.
The victory puts Arsenal level with United and three points behind leaders Chelsea, with a game in hand.
