Argentinian International Is ‘Open’ To Switch As Arsenal Are Handed Major Boost In £20m Pursuit

Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico is “open” to a move to Arsenal, according to the Sun. The Gunners are reportedly keen on signing a new left-back and it appears the Argentinian international is willing to make the switch to the Emirates.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the defender, who has already stated that he wants to leave the Netherlands for a bigger league in recent weeks.

The Sun claim Arsenal are prepared to shell out £20m on Tagliafico as they look to shore up their options on the left-hand side of defence.

Bukayo Saka has been playing out of position with manager Mikel Arteta having limited options due to injuries. However, the pursuit of the Ajax fullback will place question marks over the future of Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney.

Tierney was only signed from Celtic for £25m in the summer but two major injuries have hampered his first season in English football.
