Are Arsenal In For £30 Million Man Isco?

Play-maker, Isco is highly regarded across the continent as a bright talent. He has previously shone in the Spanish Under-21 team and could very well be called up to the senior squad for the World Cup this summer. The 21-year old was sensational for Malaga last season where he attracted a host of suitors, including Arsenal’s domestic rivals Manchester City.

However, he decided to move within his country to Real Madrid last summer. Though his performances have been far from poor, news has leaked out which suggests that he is currently unhappy with the training methods of manager Carlo Ancelotti, who also joined in the summer from Paris Saint-Germain. Isco is of the opinion that he is not progressing under the Italian manager and is open to a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu as Metro are reporting, just a year after joining the Spanish giants.

Isco respects the nature of the English game and could be open to follow the likes of David Silva, Santi Cazorla and Juan Mata, who have swapped Spain for England in recent years. Arsenal are monitoring this situation and Arsene Wenger is toying with the prospect of bidding for another Real Madrid player, after their headline making capture of Mesut Ozil last summer. Isco is valued at £30 million, which will not be a problem for the Gunners, given their current strong financial position.

If this deal materializes, Arsenal would be adding a creative midfielder who also has a decent goal-scoring pedigree?
