Arsenal have revived their interest in Real Betis playmaker Nabil Fekir, according to the Daily Star. The Gunners are said to have turned down the chance of signing the 26-year-old before he moved to Spain last summer but the midfielder is now once again a target.
Dani Ceballos is expected to return to Real Madrid once his loan expires, and head coach Mikel Arteta is believed to be looking at other potential options.
Supporters on Twitter are not putting too much faith in the Fekir rumours, considering he has been linked with a move to the Emirates on a number of occasions in the past:
Another Draxler saga, smh

This is not Rebound FC ffs.. Monitoring a single player for several years only for Him to join someone else and Us buying a relatively unknown prospect from foreign leagues.. Why can’t We just set targets on right players and buy them in the same transfer window..?!?!?

Could have signed Fekir for £23 mil last year so doubt this is true

Available for 18m last summer, also there’s going to be some beef with him and Pepe

i hope everyone realises that fekir is a #10, not an 8. he can definitely replace ozil, and and torriera can fill the void of ceballos.

The Daily Star are certainly not the most reliable of newspapers, but there were also reports in Spain earlier this month that stated the France international was back on the London club’s radar.
Fekir has had a pretty decent season for Betis, having scored seven goals and provided six assists in 23 appearances.
