An ‘Intermediary’ Has Offered Arsenal Star To Serie A Giants As Player Seeks January Exit

Roma have been offered the chance to sign Arsenal left-back Sead Kolasinac, according to the Corriere Dello Sport. The Italian newspaper claims an “intermediary” has been in touch with the Serie A club about a potential transfer in January.

The Bosnian’s proposed move to Bayer Leverkusen collapsed before the transfer window closed earlier this month and it appears that the defender is still angling for a move away from the Emirates.

It was originally believed that Kolasinac wanted to return to Germany for personal reasons, leading to interest from Leverkusen and former club Schalke. However, if he is also open to a switch to Italy, it would suggest that there are other factors in play.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has stated he would leave the door open for the fullback to leave but it must be said that the player has played pretty regularly over the past ten months since the change in manager.

Kolasinac was left out of the matchday squad for the 2-1 win over Sheffield United before the international break so perhaps there are other issues behind the scenes.
