Agents Of Arsenal Ace Have ‘Already Started Talking’ To Serie A Giants About Possible Summer Switch

The agents of Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette have “already started talking” with Juventus about a possible transfer this summer, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website claim the Frenchman is Juve’s main alternative to Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik, who the Serie A club are also believed to be pursuing.

However, any formal bid for Lacazette will depend on the Italian side offloading Gonzalo Higuain in order to free up funds and make room in their wage budget.

Currently, it appears that Milik is the favoured option with Calciomercato reporting that the Gunners star is being considered as the Bianconeri’s “Plan B.”

There has been speculation around Lacazette’s future with the 28-year-old having just two years left on his contract. Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has recently stated that he wants to sit down with the player for talks:

“We have to have a chat about the next step with him and get his ideas and his feelings. As I said, I am really happy with him.”

The Gunners could consider offloading the Frenchman in order to free up transfer funds, although the feeling is only one of him and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would be allowed to leave the Emirates at the end of the season.
