The agent of Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet says he expects there to be movement over the player’s future in the coming weeks.
When asked about Arsenal’s interest in the Belgian, Martin Riha refused to be drawn on whether the Gunners were in the running to sign the 25-year-old, but he did say that there would be developments soon:
“I can’t add anything else now, I think you can understand. Dennis is a complete footballer and he is ready to join a big club. There are many clubs interested, we’ll know everything in a few weeks”.
Multiple reports have linked Arsenal with a double deal for both Praet and his teammate Joachim Andersen, with a £44m bid believed to be on the table. However, those claims have yet to be borne out with any sort of confirmation from either club.
Praet is also said to be a target for AC Milan. The Belgian’s manager at Sampdoria, Marco Giampaolo, has left the club and is expected to take over at the Rossoneri.
The Italian could well look to bring Praet with him to the San Siro, and he is also reportedly keen on Lucas Torreira.
