Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus could be out for three months if his knee injury requires surgery, according to reports in Brazil.
The 25-year-old was substituted midway through the second half of Brazil’s 1-0 defeat to Cameroon on Friday and he has subsequently been ruled out for the rest of the World Cup.
It was initially thought that Jesus may only be out for a few weeks but supporters on Twitter are now worried that their number nine could be out for much longer:
So add a striker to the shopping list, especially after seeing the next 6 games we might even need 2 😂

So let's just wait for information from Arsenal then. Fingers crossed.

As some Gunners fans have said, it’s probably wise to wait and see what the official word is on Jesus’s injury before getting too worried about the situation.
The Brazilian will definitely not play against West Ham on Boxing Day going by what we have heard from reliable sources but, at the time of writing, there have been no further indications as to the extent of the injury he has sustained.
