“A Club Like Arsenal” Journalist Reveals Turkish Midfield Maestro Would Be Keen On Emirates Switch

Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu would be interested in joining Arsenal, according to RTV Rijnmond journalist Sinclair Bischop.

Bischop, who watches Feyenoord regularly as part of his work at the local radio station, claims Kokcu is ready for a move away from the Eredivisie side:

“He has already indicated that he wants to take a step. Preferably to the Premier League, to a club like Arsenal.”

Kokcu has been scouted by the Gunners regularly in the past, and the Turkish international could still be on the club’s radar as they look to strengthen their options in the middle of the park.

The likes of Wolves’ star Ruben Neves, Juventus’s Arthur, Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes and Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz have all been mentioned as potential targets by reliable sources in the past couple of days.

For that reason then, you can’t rule out a potential move for Kokcu in the future. The 21-year-old has been in pretty decent form for Feyenoord this season, having scored four goals and provided six assists in 32 appearances.
