Cazorla Keeps Arsenal In Front Of City

It was a great second half for the Gunners who scored twice through Cazorla who looked more determined than ever. With talks regarding the possible transfer of an additional attacking player, motivation to stand out is higher than ever.

The Spaniard showcased his incredible technique and speed several times, leaving Fulham defenders trailing.

The first hour did not look that promising though. Arsenal lacked vision and seamed tired. It all changed in a matter of minutes as Cazorla beat Stekelenburg twice in just 5 minutes. He scored his first with his right foot from just inside the box after a wonderful display of teamwork and passing accuracy especially from Wilshere who was the one with the assist. The second shot was a bit lucky and got through Fulham’s defenders despite lacking power.

It was clear that Wenger had a lot to do with this win. Fans have probably lost count when it comes to the positive changes the Frenchman managed to pull during half time. He managed to motivate his players and also to increase the tempo of the game which was not that high during the first part of the game.

The Gunners instantly put pressure on their adversaries which paid off. Fulham was not able to keep up with Arsenal who proved worthy of keeping the top spot in the Premier League standings.

It also seems that, despite losing Walcott, Wenger still has real options for Arsenal’s attack. Gnabry did a decent job replacing the Englishman, just as Flamini did for Ramsey. Podolski and Oxlade-Chamberlain came on as substitutes and will probably get more time on the pitch as soon as they are 100% fit to play an entire game.
