Arsenal Continue Their Winning Streak As They Beat Swansea City

Wenger’s team managed a great second half that allowed them to stay on top of the Premier League standings. The Gunners won on a one goal difference but the game was never that close. Arsenal continue their amazing run which going back to last season and counting all competitions is now up to an impressive 12 away games in a row and are really giving fans reason to believe this is finally the year they get to celebrate a trophy. Wenger worked wonders with youngster Gnabry and also managed to perfectly integrate Ozil who looks like he has been with the Gunners for a while now. Ramsey’s amazing form is also something to enjoy. Arsenal’s midfielder managed yet another outstanding performance, scoring 62 minutes into the game yet again.

The first goal came right after the beginning of the second half. Some excellent team work by Wilshere, Giroud and Ramsey ended with Gnabry’s cool finish which put the Gunners ahead. It looks like Arsenal have it all working on all fronts so far this season. The passing is spot on, the top players are in excellent form and Wenger is always right with his selections. What is even more amazing is the fact that the Gunners are currently dealing with important absences like the ones of Walcott, Santi Cazorla, Abou Diaby and Lukas Podolski. Somehow, Arsenal’s manager still has found the resources to put together an efficient starting eleven.


Both teams started playing some really eye-catching football after the first half ended. The Gunners cemented their advantage with Ramsey’s goal who proved he is probably in the best shape of his career. Swansea’s goal was scored by Davies who managed to finally beat Szczesny who himself managed some excellent saves throughout the second half. The goal was scored after Bony exchanged passes with Davies who got by Mertesacker.

The final part of the match was a bit stressful for Arsenal fans, especially when Swansea requested a late penalty. The ball hit Flamni’s hand but referee Mark Clattenburg considered no intention was present.

By wining against Swansea, Arsenal stay two points ahead of Tottenham who managed a draw against Chelsea. The Gunners are one an amazing 8 away win streak and can finally hope the Premier League title could end up at the Emirates.
