Arsenal have joined a long list of Premier League teams who are tracking Rennes winger Martin Terrier, according to 90min.com.
The Frenchman has been in excellent form this season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions, and the Gunners have reportedly sent scouts to watch him in recent weeks, along with Manchester United, Newcastle, Leicester, Aston Villa, Leeds and Wolves.
Terrier generally plays off the left wing, cutting in onto his stronger right foot, which means he is likely being looked at as potential competition for Gabriel Martinelli.
90min.com believe that Rennes are likely to hold out for a fee in excess of £30m, which seems like a pretty reasonable price, considering his performances both in Ligue One and the Europe League this campaign.
Arsenal are stepping up their efforts to sign a new forward ahead of the January transfer window. In addition to Terrier, they are said to be weighing up a move for Orlando City’s Facundo Torres.
