“No Real Offers…” Agent Plays Down Speculation Surrounding 63M Rated Serbian Star Amid Arsenal Links

Lazio have not received any formal bids for Arsenal target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Filippo Colasanto.

The FIFA-licensed agent says that the Serbian international remains a key player for Lazio and, at the moment, there is no chance that he will leave the Serie A side before the transfer window closes:

“Milinkovic-Savic is a diamond, a true precious piece of Lazio. For now, however, no real offers have been received.”

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has spoken about Milinkovic-Savic’s asking price being close to €75m (£63m), which would make him a very expensive purchase for the likes of the Gunners and other clubs.

Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with the 27-year-old this summer but, if Colasanto is to be believed, no team has actually tabled an offer.

Some reliable journalists have claimed that Milinkovic-Savic has been considered as an option by Arsenal but it would be hard to justify spending so much on the midfielder, especially when someone like Leicester’s Youri Tielemans is available for pretty much half the price.
