Latest Arsenal Injury News: Updates On Partey, Tierney, Tomiyasu And Pepe

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey suffered a recurrence of a thigh injury in the 3-0 defeat against Crystal Palace last night.

The Ghanaian pulled up just before the Gunners conceded their third goal, and was replaced by Albert Sambi Lokonga with fifteen minutes remaining at Selhurst Park.

Kieran Tierney is seeing a specialist about a knee injury today. Manager Mikel Arteta said the initial prognosis was not good and there are fears that the left-back could miss the rest of the season.

Takehiro Tomiyasu’s fitness is also a concern. The Japanese international has been close to returning from a calf problem for a number of weeks but he was again absent from the matchday squad for the game yesterday evening. We shall see if he is back to face Brighton on Saturday.

Nicolas Pepe was also unavailable for the Palace match. The Ivorian international is believed to have picked up an illness.
