The Premier League and the FA have confirmed when and where Arsenal’s next five games will be played once the season resumes later this month.
The Gunners’ first four league fixtures, along with their FA Cup quarter-final, have all been given dates as ‘Project Restart’ gathers pace. Here are all the details:
Wednesday, June 17th: Manchester City v Arsenal (20:15), Etihad Stadium, Sky Sports
Saturday, June 20th: Brighton v Arsenal (15:00), Amex, BT Sport
Thursday, June 25th: Southampton v Arsenal (18:00), St Mary’s, Sky Sports
Sunday, June 28th: (FA Cup Quarter-Final) Sheffield United v Arsenal (13:00), Bramall Lane, BT Sport
Wednesday, July 1st: Arsenal v Norwich (18:00), Emirates, BT Sport
It means Arsenal will play their first four games away from home, although it seems that with the matches being behind closed doors, playing in your own stadium doesn’t offer any real advantage.
You may also notice that none of the fixtures will be free to air for those fans in the UK, with Sky having not chosen any to be screened on their Pick TV Freeview channel.
