Arsenal are one of seven teams keeping tabs on Rennes holding midfielder Noah Francoise, according to reports in the French media.
The 16-year-old has been putting in some impressive performances in the UEFA Youth League which have grabbed the attention of the Gunners, as well as Liverpool, AC Milan, Inter, Ajax, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.
Rennes made it through to the last 16 of the tournament after Francoise scored an important goal against Club Brugge. He bagged the opener in a 1-1 draw with the tie being won by the French club on penalties.
The midfielder has also been a standout performer at international level. He captained France’s Under 16s before he moved up to the Under 17s at the beginning of the year.
Francoise has yet to play senior football, but he is one of the most promising players coming through the youth ranks in France, and it is not a surprise that Arsenal are looking at him.
