£32m Rated Roma Star Speaks Out On His Future Amid Interest From Arsenal And United

Roma defender Kostas Manolas has raised doubts over his future with the Italian club.

The Greek international has been linked with Arsenal, among other clubs, and when asked if he would be staying at the Giallorossi next season after his side’s 2-1 win over Parma at the weekend, the centre-back replied:

“I don’t know if I’ll stay here “.

Manolas reportedly has a €36m (£32m) release clause in his contract that would allow him to leave to the Stadio Olimpico if the buyout fee is met.

The 27-year-old is on Juventus and Napoli’s radar, with Manchester United also reported to have an interest in the defender.

Arsenal are said to be seeking a new centre-half in the summer, with reports in recent days seeing the club being linked with Saint-Etienne’s teenage prodigy William Saliba.

The 18-year-old is said to be available for €30m (£26.5m), which is nearly as much as Manolas, who has far more experience of playing at the highest level. Who the Gunners choose to go after, we shall have to wait and see.
