Arsenal fans have slammed former star Alexis Sanchez after what has been a dismal start to his career at Manchester United.
Sanchez joined Jose Mourinho’s side in January in a controversial switch that saw former United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan come the other way.
Many were skeptical of letting the Chilean – who had been the Gunner’s star player for each of the last three seasons – go to a rival club, none less so than Manchester United.
However since the move, Sanchez has failed to find any kind of form at his new home, finding the net only once and failing to produce a single assist in nine appearances for the Red Devils.
Mkhitaryan’s fortunes after the swap however, have been quite different.
While Arsenal have struggled in recent weeks, the Armenia international has been the Gunners stand-out player during that difficult period.
The former Borussia Dortmund star has produced five assists in eight games for Arsene Wenger’s men, and got his debut goal for the club on Thursday night, netting the opener in a 2-0 win over AC Milan.

Alexis has been utter garbage for United since signing, I’m not saying it just because I support Arsenal. Compared to Mkhitaryan, who has 5 assists and a goal in a terrible Arsenal side. I feel like we got the better deal in the end.
