Arsenal brushed aside bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United at the weekend and manager Mikel Arteta would have been pleased with how his team performed overall. 

It demonstrates the squad depth that the Gunners now have that they can make a number of changes in personnel and still come out 5-0 winners.

Getting the three points was all that really mattered so they can maintain the pressure on North London rivals Tottenham at the top, but there were plenty of positives to come from the match.
