Gabriel Martinelli is rapidly become one of the league’s premier wide players. The Brazilian had a trial at Man Utd before being signed by the Gunners.
He’s already eclipsed his goal tally from last year – he scored six in the previous campaign, while he’s found the back of the net on seven occasions this season.
He has played in all of Arsenal’s Premier League games so far this season. It has done wonders for his confidence and he is repaying his manager’s faith in him in spades.
Consistency is still an issue for the 21-year-old, he’s not always at his best – but when he is, watch out. His form meant he was selected for Brazil’s World Cup squad which shows how much he has improved.
