Nacho Monreal
The dependable Nacho Monreal wasn’t the most inspiring of January signings, but he was nonetheless a calming influence in an often jittery Arsenal back line when Arsene Wenger was at the helm.
Capable of playing both left back and centre back, he was much more comfortable when deployed as a fullback with license to get forward. In total, the Spaniard made 187 appearances for Arsenal, scoring seven goals.
He also picked up a decent amount of caps for Spain, scoring a single goal across 22 international appearances.
