Xhaka Set For A Long Spell Out Of Position
Arteta has hinted that, after starting the Swiss international at left-back last night, he may be set to stay in that role for a while. With Kieran Tierney having been ruled out for the season, it seems like an option that is being seriously considered.
Xhaka put in a solid display, although he wasn’t really tested. The main concern, though, will be whether they miss him more in the centre of the pitch, where he has been an influential figure in recent months.
