1) Win The Midfield Battle
Liverpool’s midfield is full of workhorses like James Milner, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson and their job is to press and close down space. They are not, though, that effective at creating chances (as we saw in the first leg).
So, the challenge will be to try and pick them off in the middle of the park. Chelsea did an excellent job of doing this in the 2-2 draw against the Reds earlier this month. The Liverpool trio panic when they don’t have time on the ball, so the likes of Albert Sambi Lokonga will need to be on their case all night.
