2) Exploit The Left Hand Channel
Liverpool have had some issues this season down their right-hand side. It’s not necessarily about Trent Alexander-Arnold’s rather mediocre defending but how manager Jurgen Klopp has decided to set things up.
Alexander-Arnold is given license to roam into more central positions, and with Mo Salah pushing high up, it means the right-sided central midfield player has a key role defensively. If Jordan Henderson is not available, they are likely to be very vulnerable there, meaning Emile Smith Rowe and Nuno Tavares will be able to exploit the space.
