PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo has revealed that a move away from the Eredivisie side could be on the cards in the very near future.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have all been credited with an interest in the Dutch international. However, after PSV’s last home game of the season last night, he spray-painted his signature on a flag, which was made to look like a contract. When asked about the incident, Gakpo clarified his situation by stating he would be making a decision on a transfer very soon:

“It wasn’t my real signature, haha. The coming weeks will show where my future lies.”

It is believed that PSV will demand at least £35m for Gakpo, although there are some reports that they may hold out for as much as £50m. The 23-year-old has been in good form this season, having scored 21 goals and contributed 15 assists in all competitions, so it isn’t surprising that the Gunners are keeping tabs on him.

From Gakpo’s comments, it appears fans won’t have to wait too long to find out whether he will be moving to the Emirates this summer.
