14M Championship Star’s Transfer Stance Revealed As Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle And Brentford All Circle

Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson will wait and see whether a big Premier League club makes a move for him before deciding on his future, according to the Sun.

Brentford are believed to be lining up a £14m January offer for the 20-year-old, but the player could hold out for a move to Arsenal, Tottenham or Newcastle, who are also interested in him.

Johnson’s contract at Forest expires in 2023 and his situation is being monitored by the Gunners, with the scouting department seemingly impressed by the wide man’s performances.

The Wales international has scored five goals and contributed four assists in 23 Championship appearances this season. He has been a keen part in Forest’s turnaround under manager Steve Cooper, who has transformed them from relegation candidates to playoff contenders.

If Brentford do make a former bid for Johnson next month, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will table an offer of their own.
