Wilshere Primed For World Cup – Wenger

The 22-year-old Wilshere has been out of action since early March after suffering a hairline fracture to his foot but he is on schedule to return to action before the end of the season.

And Wenger believes that he is raring to go for the World Cup, and he has also assured England boss Roy Hodgson that the midfielder will be fully fit for Brazil.

According to the Daily Mail, Wenger said, “Jack started to jog again this week and I would say two to three weeks until he returns to action. I spoke with Roy Hodgson, I told him Wilshere will be available for England. He will be just polished for England.”

“I think he will pick him. I didn’t feel any doubt on that front. Jack can prove himself to be world class at the World Cup. He can be the positive surprise.”

He added, “England has a very difficult group but if you come out of a group like that your belief is really strong. They have to deal really well with the situation as they have Italy and Uruguay in the group and they have to get out of there.”

It is gonna be a close run thing getting Wilshere fit for Brazil but Arsene Wenger is usually reliable when it comes to player injuries so we can can expect Jack to make it onto the plane as long as Roy Hodgson is convinced.
