Wenger’s Sami Khedira Transfer Back On Track?

Rumors had it that Sami Khedira was using Arsenal in order to get an increase in salary from Real. According to Metro, things proved to be completely different considering the fact that the German is now willing to drop his financial demands in order to move to London. Wenger has made it a priority to sign the World Cup winner who seems to have had some kind of a fallout with Real Madrid.

Khedira is now willing to drop some of his financial expectations in order to join his fellow countrymen at Emirates Stadium. Ozil, Podolski and Mertesacker will also play an important role in this possible deal as the Germans are still trying to convince Khedira that Arsenal is the perfect destination for him.

Since the silent negotiations begun, Khedira has now decided to settle for a salary which is 10% lower than what he first demanded. Rumors say that he wanted the same wage as Ozil and Sanchez who are currently on top of the list with £150,000 per week.

The 27 year old who spent 4 years playing for Real will come to London if Wenger decides he is worth the £134,000-a-week salary. Chelsea and Monaco were also linked to the German but it is hard to believe he will choose either one mostly because of the fact that Arsenal has the best group for him. Ozil is the German’s best friend and would love to play next to Khedira which was part of the World Cup winning squad.
