Wenger’s Eventual Successor Identified By Arsenal!

There were numerous rumours suggesting that last season was going to be Wenger’s final season at the club following another inconsistent campaign. However, that changed when Arsenal finally landed a trophy and the FA Cup triumph arguably allowed Wenger to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium.

The 65-year-old has two and a half years left on his current deal and will soon need to be replaced. Arsenal have already started scouting candidates with Metro reporting that the club has identified Paul Clement as the man to eventually replace the Frenchman.

Clement is currently Carlo Ancelotti’s number two at Madrid where he won the Champions League last season. He has also worked with the Italian during his time at Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. He is widely regarded as being one of the top coaches in the world.

Clement has never been the top manager at any club but the 42-year-old could soon be seen at Arsenal. The club believes that Clement’s rich experience of working with the world’s best players will stand him in good stead to be the top dog at the club.
