Wellington Silva Set To Return To The Emirates

Seen as the next Neymar, Wellington Silva will finally get the chance to prove his abilities. Wenger will expect the 22 year old to return to the Emirates at the end of the season when his loan spell ends. According to Metro, the Brazilian youngster only received his work visa in October and he is now eligible to perform in the Premier League. Wellington looked very eager to prove himself given the fact that this is his first chance in 4 years to actually perform in Arsenal’s shirt.

Since he was signed from Fluminense back in 2011, the winger has spent time on loan mostly in the Second Division in Spain. Currently playing for Almeria, Wellington will definitely have to step up his game if he wants to make it in the Premier League. It will be very complicated for him to handle the change in pace just as it was for Joel Campbell. The Costa Rican was just as promising but failed to deliver even though he did have his chance to impress.

Unfortunately for Wellington, he might need to reconsider his position on the pitch if he does stay in London. The Brazilian performs best as a right winger meaning he will have to compete with Sanchez, Wallcott or Gnabry for that spot. The left side of the pitch is a different story though. He could have a chance to make a few appearances as Arsenal are already looking to find a permanent solution in that spot.
