Top Four Youngsters Arsenal Should Be On The Lookout For

Transfers have always been somewhat of a mystery at Emirates since Wenger settled in but that’s no reason to hang back from following up on interesting rumors. News about possible moves are all over media especially after Arsenal’s last couple of seasons when the club surprised everyone with signings like that of Sanchez, Ozil and Cech. Chambers was also a good move despite the player’s difficulties when it comes to adapting. With that in mind and with the fact that the Gunners are keen on winning the trophy that requires the most endurance and consistency which is the Premier League, Winter transfers do not seem that far off. Even if it is hard to believe that a major deal will take place, there are some interesting names which could do Arsenal a lot of good for both now and the near future.

  1. Nikola Vlasic – This 18-year-old is targeted by none other than Chelsea, Tottenham and Inter. Despite being so young, he has turned a lot of heads especially when playing on the right wing. He is capable of playing as a number 10 as well which would be of great help for Arsenal.
  2. Sidiki Maiga – The Mali international is the most approachable target as he is just 16 and has no actual contact with any important European team. Bringing him to learn next to Henry would definitely benefit Arsenal in 2-3 years if not sooner. He would be a great gain for the academy rather than the senior team.
  3. Jeffrey Schlupp – Leicester’s left-sided player who is under contract until 2019 has made an impressive 129 appearances for his club and scored 15 times while also providing 7 assists. This is definitely a name to have on top of the transfer list given the fact that Arsenal are counting on Monreal and Gibbs as left-backs.
  4. Michy Batshuayi – Belgium latest rising star has had an impressive season for Marseille up until now managing 9 goals and 3 assists in 16 games. He is a great striker and could be seen as a replacement third option for Arsenal’s attack. He could even be a 2nd option if we leave out Welbeck who has not had the most promising start at Emirates.

Any of these 4 would be a good move for Arsenal with the last two being able to actually have an impact on the club as soon as this January. It is to be seen if negotiations will start for any of the above mentioned.
