Three Key Signings To Help Arsenal To First Premier League Title In Over A Decade

Arsenal have held their own brilliantly this season despite the alarming number of injuries which have decimated the squad at times. The thin lot has caused the Gunners to struggle at times and may have cost them to lose ground in the race for Premier League glory when you consider the lack of injuries to Chelsea comparatively. According to Metro, things could change for next year if Wenger manages to land three key players who are available to sign at the end of the season.

The first and probably the most important name on Wenger’s transfer list is German superstar Marco Reus. Despite having one of the best attacking lines in Europe, Arsenal has been missing a left winger who can bring the same quality to the game as Sanchez does. Having the 25 year old on the flank might just turn the Gunners into a scoring machine which will make any defense tremble. Even with all the defensive problems the Londoners had to face, Reus should still be a priority.

The second most important player to consider is Morgan Schneiderlin. The Frenchman who is still under contract with Southampton until 2017 would secure the link between the defense and the midfield which has been a bit unreliable at times. The 25 year old will provide serious competition for Coquelin whose skill would definitely increase when being challenged for a spot in the starting eleven by a player of Schneiderlin’s efficiency.

Last but not least on the list is Chelsea’s Petr Cech. The 32 year old could replace Szczesny who has one foot out the door already. If rumors are true and he will cost Arsenal around £10m, there is no reason why Wenger should pass on such a huge opportunity.
