Sandro Staying Put At Spurs

According to the Express, Arsenal may have failed with their bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro, after the Brazilian revealed his love for his current club and it’s loyal supporters.

Arsenal have struggled to find a suitable defensive minded midfielder after Patrick Viera, and Arsene Wenger hoped to instate Abou Diaby in that position. However, Diaby has struggled with fitness troubles throughout his spell at the club, and that has left the spot vacant in the side. Mikel Arteta has been placed many a times as the makeshift defensive midfielder, but the Spaniard has not been able to physically combat the demanding position. Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey and Arteta are similar players in terms of physical build, which means Wenger has to make do with a player who is not a natural defensive midfielder.

Sandro has been struggling himself for a place in the Spurs starting eleven, and reportedly had a tiff with Tim Sherwood over selections which meant that Sandro was rumored to be moving across North London but it seems like this ridiculous rumor has to be proved nothing but just that and Sandro will not be leaving North London especially for Arsenal.
