Sanchez Sets Transfer Bar Higher Than Ever

Sanchez Sets Transfer Bar Higher Than Ever

Alexis Sanchez’s move to London looks like a match made in heaven. The Chilean has adapted incredibly well to the Premier League and has become part of a growing group which is set to win more and more trophies as time goes by. Arsenal’s winger who took the UK by storm after leaving Barcelona, has not stopped praising the Gunners since he first set foot on the Emirates ground. Currently nominated for the PFA’s Player of the Year Award, Sanchez reminded both fans and the press how happy he is and what plans he has for the future.

Even though he was rumored to be wanting to leave Arsenal due to the club’s lack of form at one point, the 26 year old snubbed the likelihood of a possible departure. He is on an amazing run which has helped The Gunners keep breathing down Chelsea’s neck and also maintain their chances to defend the FA Cup title won last year.

Sanchez has managed to find the net 22 times since joining Arsenal, but more importantly, has managed to inspire his colleagues and make them work harder. After almost a year in London the biggest gain for the Gunners is the strong character and extreme determination showcased by the Chilean in every match.

It will be very difficult for Arsenal’s next big transfer to live up to expectations. It will also be very difficult for Wenger to find a player who comes with as reasonable a price as Sanchez did and delivers right from the first minute. According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners will not only have to spend big but also have some luck in finding the perfect players to deliver on the same level as the Chilean.
