Sanchez Close To Joining Injured List

Like having Walcott, Wilshere, Ramsey and a bunch of others out due to injury was not enough, it is now time to worry about the most important player in the squad. Even though he is not having as good a campaign as last year, Sanchez pulls the entire team after him. He has a kind of determination that you don’t see very often, a determination that at some point characterized the Premier League. Unfortunately, that determination could bring a lot of problems as the Chilean seems to be putting too much stress on his body. According to Squawka, that not-stop pressure is starting to show as the forward starts facing minor physical issues. It`s scary because it might point to something bigger, that could happen when Sanchez is needed the most on the pitch.

Why the sudden concern with his safety? After Chile’s last game, Arsenal’s forward has picked up a calf injury which is very hard to measure in terms of how long will the recovery take. According to Chile boss Jorge Sampaoli, Sanchez might be out of his country’s next match which might be good or bad news depending on what half of the glass you are looking at. If he did pick up an injury, it would be best for Arsenal to keep him safe and let him recover. On the other side, if he is back against Uruguay on Tuesday, it means all is well.

It would be a massive blow to lose Sanchez even if Arsenal have their most important game right before Christmas when everyone should be up and running. The Gunners need consistency and need a player who can motivate colleagues like it happened against Tottenham. Hopefully Sanchez is fine and will continue being in great shape even after the World Cup qualifier games.
