Ozil Insists He Is Here To Stay

Arsenal’s most expensive transfer ever has failed to truly impress since moving to London. He started off strong but suffered a major drop in form. Injuries have also kept him away for a long time and added to the fans’ skepticism regarding his ability to prove he is worth the £42m Wenger paid for him. According to the Daily Mail, the German International who recently returned to the pitch, is happy he chose the Premier League and does not plan to leave anytime soon. Even if he has been struggling to adapt for quite a while now, he has a positive attitude which is good. Hopefully he will be able to return to the form shown while playing for Real and upon his arrival from Spain.

Seen as a brilliant No.10 who follows in the steps of Zidane, Ozil has a lot of work to do if he plans to become a fan favorite. A couple of passes and a classy dribble every once in a while will not get him too far. He has been under heavy criticism from former Arsenal legends and fans but has always been supported by Wenger. Even Sanchez who at first seemed to have a problem with the World Cup winner is now backing up the 26 year old who is still expected to prove he is one of the best. It would be great to step on the gas now and not wait for the next season though as Arsenal have a lot of difficult matches to win in order to shoot for the Premier League title this campaign and also to retain the FA Cup.
